彼女にとって9枚目となるアルバムには、Father John Misty、Bleachers、Tommy Genesis、Jon Batisteなどの豪華アーティストが参加。

アルバムには、表題曲「Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd」をはじめ、日本の伝統技法である金継ぎのことと思われる「Kintsugi」を含む全16曲が収録されます。
